He holds a BA in Economics, Finance and Accounting, and an MSc in Energy Finance from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee, Scotland.</p><p>Over the course of his career, Rami has worked in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa with leading global organizations including Petro-Canada, Gaz de France, Schlumberger, and IHS International. His roles have spanned Oil and Gas Analyst, Financial Controller, Integrated Project Management Controller, and Chief Financial Officer for a group of privately owned companies. He has also collaborated with the World Bank on finance-related initiatives.</p><p>A seasoned executive, Rami brings extensive expertise in financial management, project control, forecasting, and strategic planning within the energy industry as well as fiscal systems and oil and gas commercial contracts. He is an alumnus of The Fund for American Studies and a scholar of both the Saïd Foundation and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Rami has published several papers on topics including Russian gas and its relationship with Europe, Japan and East Asia’s energy demand, as well as Qatar’s LNG and the US shale gas sector.</p>
